Oro y Mujeres!

 

When the Spaniards arrived in Peru, they had only two demands from the Inca: Oro y Mujeres. Gold and Women. 

They got more than they requested from both. The gold they took back to Europe to pay for wars, and the silver they shipped to China to buy silk and porcelain. The women and their children were left in Peru, and they are still there.

The hunger for gold has only increased since then. It is trading today 5% higher than yesterday. People are selling bitcoin (especially those linked to paper currency) and buying gold and silver. The dollar is weakening and losing credibility, while gold is shining like always.  Oro, I have none. Mujeres, I have no use for them. Sad, isn't it?

The Ill-fated French Revolution

The French Revolution paved the way for today's woke ideology. All human beings are equal and brothers. Freedom! The thing ruined France; there are fewer Frenchmen today than in 1779, and they are immersed in a frightful inundation of Africans and Arabs.  The pox spread to England, and two centuries later, the Empire's civilizing enterprise is considered a great shame.

It rapidly led to the dissolution of the robust  Jewish communities that had emerged from the dark Middle Ages, making it impossible to continue the effective survival strategies of solidarity and negotiation with the peoples and rulers around them. In pre-Revolution France, the Alsace Jews were oppressed yet rich and growing, and the Portuguese Jewish refugees had normalized their status and become very rich with tropical merchandise. After the "liberation", the ghettos and communities of Europe were dissolved, and the Jews achieved equal rights and assimilated. Nothing remains from the "old" European Jews, and the current population is newcomers from Eastern Europe and North Africa.  If the French Revolution had been suffocated, there would be around 200 million French people today, and about 25 million European Jews (instead of half a million).

Large Concentration of Assets

 

America is concentrating an immense number of carrier strike groups, warplanes, refueling airplanes, and whatnot. I think there has never been such a military force in the Middle East theater. 

President Trump is negotiating with the Ayatollah's regime, and this force is his card. On the other hand, the very concentration of forces irradiates a menace on every other player in the Middle East, including, I fear, Israel too. You don't play with Trump.

At the Brink of Wars

" It's now happening. The existing fiat monetary order, the domestic political order, and the international geopolitical order are all breaking down, so we are at the brink of wars. It all is happening because of the Big Cycle that is driven by the five big forces" (sic) as described by Roy Dalio. I bought his book, with many case studies, studied them, but I didn't think I could use them.

Donald, It is Enough! Knock it off! The Germans are afraid. Instead of the generous American uncle protecting them, they find themselves divided and unprepared for the real world.

The post-WWII era has ended. Cruel destiny is sending on them - on all of us - a prolonged conflictive era.  Like the 25 years Pelopponesian War.
