Impressions from the New Government

Yesterday midnight it was signed the list of participants in the newly formed coalition. It has a strong rightwing (Bennet, Ayala Shaked, Saar) and a strong crazy leftwing (Labor, Meretz, the Islamic Movement - Southern Section). The radio played Palestinian music and interviewed Palestinian politicians. I hoped that the Bourse will respond with prices rising, but I am disappointed. This is not good, I'll be forced to sell at miserable prices. Expletive deleted.

  1. No way this government survives. The only thing they have in common is disliking Netanyahu. Once he's gone they won't be able to agree on anything.

    1. Definitely. Even grouping it by right-left is impossible: the Islamic Movement (Mansour) - fascist - religious extremism - is left? Their demand is to receive the titles to public lands they are occupying. No Zionist can agree. The 100 years long effort to settle the Bedouin nomads has failed and and now they possess de facto half of the Negev. It is no joke. // Lapid built his party on the basis of opposition to the Haredi population growth (and subsidies), now that they are "gone" - organizing gay carnivals will be enough to satisfy his voters?
Another problem: This is an Ashkenazi coalition. The Mizrahi population will soon discover that instead of Moroccan music the media is pumping Arab lamentations/ Even the Haaretz suddenly writes about the poor Arab family humiliated by the upper store Jewish families throwing down trash through the windows. The Likud is the home of the Mizrahi poor Jews, now they are homeless.
