We are in the middle of the organization of a Leftist government in Israel. The participation of Abbas, the leader of the Islamist party, is absolutely necessary to reach the 61 votes needed to form a government. This afternoon, the Islamists in Gaza fired missiles at Jerusalem (pic), and Zahal's response makes it impossible for Abbas to co-operate with the Zionists. The inflexible Arab Code of Honor paralyzes him. On the other hand, those crazy feminists and corrupt Russians will stay powerless. Which is very good.

ReplyDeleteOn the other hand I don't understand the Palestinians issue with not allowing Jewish to visit temple mount. It's now near the end of Ramadan, and almost Eid al Fitr. I would encourage Jews to come and pray together with the muslims. The dome of the rock is a very important site, it is not a mosque, as is often claimed, but a marker for a location.

DeleteNot necessarily, it just means that J-M267 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haplogroup_J-M267), a marker that shows up in Hashemites and Cohen's and is common in among Jews and southern arabians. It's probably much older then any modern religion, and is marker of descent from elite south and central semitic men.
